I’ll forever be obsessed with this beautiful wedding last May at Highley Manor. My first time at this lovely venue, and the beautiful couple who were an absolute dream to work with. The brief: peaches, creams and oranges.

It’s been a lovely Christmas and a much needed break to spend time with my children and Chris. A time to enjoy magic, and a time to reflect on the year that has been, both professionally and personally. Both professionally and personally 2025 has been a year with highs and lows.

Personal highs would have to be going on a lovely family holiday making memories in Ibiza and seeing Hamilton live with front row seats, and the ultimate high was finding out we were pregnant. A beautiful surprise.

With the highs, came the lows. All that sticks in my head is that Chris and I finding out that our precious baby’s heart had stopped and that little Baby Maé joined Sunny in Heaven.

With that That personal low, came also the professional lows. I love my job and it is a huge honour to be a wedding florist. But this year has definitely shown me how hard it is being self-employed, and also showed me how important it is to have a support network behind you. I would have been lost without my freelance florist Eve and my husband Chris who helped me with the weddings that followed the days and weeks after losing Maé. Thank you 🙏 It’s realising that even when your world around you is falling apart, you still have to deliver. And that’s the professional lows, but the highs is the sense of empowerment that follows. That you are strong, and you are enough. More than you will ever know.

Although 2025 has been difficult for my husband and I with the weight of grief, the highs have also been in abundance. It has been my most successful year and blown away with the amount of couples who booked and entrusted me with their wedding florals. And what a privilege it is. Thank you. ☺️ 🌸 Each one beautiful and unique. Each one with a love story of their own. If someone had told me that a couple of years ago that I would be creating florals for so many weddings this year and at so many lovely venues, I would have most definitely not believed them 🌸

I want to thank you all the couples that have entrusted me, and all the lovely people, suppliers who have recommended me. Thank you ☺️

The Story & Symbolism of the Christmas Poinsettia

Wow! What a lovely afternoon @chichestercityartscentre to wrap up our Christmas Wreath Workshops for 2025! Thank you again to the owners of this lovely venue for having me back three years on the trot.

A total of 71 Christmas wreaths were individually made by all my lovely participants from all five festive workshops these last couple of weeks. It’s been an absolute pleasure.

A massive thank you to the lovely Eve from @eveselegantflorals who has freelanced for me this year. 🎄 And not to mention a thank you to my husband Chris for all the support he’s given this month and doing solo parenting bedtimes with the little ones.

Thank you to each of the venues for having me and to all who took part this year.

For now, it’s a little rest from workshops (just a little rest) and maybe I’ll even treat my car to a good hoover.

Today, I had the privilege of creating flowers for a memorial and a celebration of life. This English inspired meadow consisted of white lilies, hydrangeas, roses, delphiniums, campanulas and bright sunflowers, chrysanthemums and tanacetums, with an abundance of foliage for texture and whimsy. Created to encircle a beautiful wicker urn. 🌻

Here is just one of my beautiful brides, Mrs Collyer, who married her Mr Collyer a couple of weeks back at @upwalthambarns . She chose a very elegant bouquet of gypsophila and pink avalanche roses. I added lovely lisianthus just to keep the textures soft and balanced throughout.
